    rounding numbers (2000)

    hello again guys,

    i have problem with this sheet..

    what i want to do is make the numbers to be without the decimal and rounding it..

    i don't know whether my formula is wrong or with my formatting..

    the range that i'm yalking about is the cell in purple..please refer to attachment..thanks

    Your numbers are not numbers they are text. Excel converts them to text when you concatenate the "%" to them.

    If you want them text and "look like" rounded numbers you can use the (simpler formula)
    <pre>=IF(M24=0,"",ROUND(I24/M24*100,0)&"%")</pre>


    This rounds before it concatenates and converts.

    Or if you want the real number (to use in calculations) you can use:
    <pre>=IF(M24=0,"",I24/M24)</pre>


    Then format the cells to percentage with no decimals (format - cells - number(tab) - percentage - choose 0 decimals)
