    Row Column Fonts (Excel 2003)

This is really fussy I know but.... i have had 2003 installed by row and column headings have changed to a Times New Roman style font and it is really irritating. My default font is arial, but how can I get column letter and row number to appear in a different font. I have looked at some past screen dumps and they were in arial.

    Please help!

Re: Row Column Fonts (Excel 2003)

When you say Default Font, are you refering to the Standard Font Setting when you go Tools | Options | General Tab?

If you do choose Tools | Options | General Tab, and you change your font to Arial, it should change the row and column headings. you must just close and reopen Excel.

The row and column headings use the font of the Normal style of the workbook. You can set it in Format | Style. New workbooks will use the default font from Tools | Options..., General for their Normal style, or the font set in the Book.xlt template if you have one in your XLSTART folder.
