Stop at a certain date (Excel 2000/2003)

    Hi there
I have a time sheet with dates from the 24th of the month until the 23rd.
What formula can I use that will make the cell blank if the last cell in the range is the 24th (say if it happens to be a shorter month).
    Regards

    You can use conditional formatting:
Select the last 3 cells (you need 3, since February usually has 28 days).
    Select Format | Conditional Formatting
Select Formula Is from the dropdown list.
Enter the following formula into the box next to the dropdown list:

    =DAY(A29) > 23

where A29 is the address of the active cell within the selection.
    Click Format...
Set the Font color to the background color of your worksheet (usually white).
Click OK to close the Format Cells dialog.
Click OK to close the Conditional Formatting dialog.
