    Changing Email Default (Outlook 2000 sp3/OE 6)

When I go to email a Word or Excel document it automatically goes to my OE 6 address book. I switched everyone to use Outlook and want Word and Excel to go to Outlook's Contact list instead of Outlook Express. How do I make it do this? I have looked all over and cannot find a way. Do I have to remove Outlook Express from the systems?

You need to make Outlook the default email program.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Word is supposed to take its cue from Outlook's internal address book. You can set up multiple address books and choose from a drop-down list in the upper right corner. The sequence/priority should match, but perhaps they don't?? As for Dave's dialog, I think the last item might be more pertinent than the second one, but it's just a wild guess (I'm not in an experimental mood this afternoon <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> ).
