    Outlook 2000 Shutdown (Outlook 2000 SP3)

According to MS KB article 834005, there is a known problem with some installs of Outlook 2000 not shutting down. I have the problem. I have no Fax programs or COMM add-ins. The article speaks of an available fix -- "Outlook 2000 Post-Service Pack 3 Hotfix Package" that you must contact Microsoft for and risk a charge.

Does anyone know where this "hotfix" may be available other than via MS paid support?

    Thanks,
    Craig.

I wouldn't trust supposed Microsoft executables from third parties!

If you need the fix, in theory, they don't charge you. Problem is, how can you be sure? Hmmm...

Do you have a PDA that is syncing with your Outlook on the PC?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
