    Cascading Text (1)

    Hello:

Does anyone know how to produce cascading text?

I've been searching everywhere for this and can't find it. Each succeeding line of text gets progressively shorter.

If you can help I would appreciate it.

    Thank you.

I'm not familiar with 'cascading text'. Could you give an example of what you want? Thanks.

Well cascading text means that each successive line of text gets shorter and shorter. Ex:

This is what I mean by cascading text. The first
line is longer than the next. Each time
the line gets shorter and shorter.
I don't know how to auto-
    matically format it.

As far as I know, Word does not have a built-in feature to do this. However, Word does support wrapping text next to or around drawings. If you were to insert a drawing consisting of a white triangle or diamond, you could force the text, to some extent, to fit the shape you want. See the attached document for an example (using a yellow triangle for visibility).
