    Cursor size (Word 2000/3)

    Hi
Don't know what I did, but the insertion point (flashing cursor) has reduced in size to about an 8pt.
Normally it is raised above the text and a portion protrudes below the line as well.
    Any ideas?
    Regards

To see if this is caused by a Word setting, you can start Word in "fresh out of the box" mode. From the Start button, click Run... and enter:

    winword.exe /a

If the insertion point looks normal there, then apparently there is a Word setting (in Word, a template, an add-in, etc.) at fault, and the challenge is finding it. If the insertion point remains tiny, it probably is a Windows setting.

One other thought: if you changed printers or print drivers recently, this can affect the font spacing in Word which might affect the visibility of the insertion point.
