TIP>> A Primary Key fro Excel Lists (Excel 2000 >)

    Hi,
Here is an interesting example of how to create a primary key in excel. The Emp_ID column cannot accept duplicates or text values, and must contain a value before the other two columns can be type in. To view the validation, click in a cell in Col "A" and chose Data Validation. Col "B" and "C" also have validation!
    Try it out!
    Regards,
    Rudi

You can also create a foreign key dependency, with or without a dropdown list, using a named range.
See the Validation for the Dept column.
