    MS Outlook (MS Outlook 98)

I have several forms that have been created using MS Outlook 98 for MS Access 97. As of Friday last week the forms are adding a new box in the form. If we had an attachment file to add, we used the
    "paper clip" to add it.

Now, if we add an attachment it will create a small "box" and attach it there. This we can live with this, but how was this change made? The problem is that if we inserted the wrong file it will not allow us to change it.

It's difficult to remember for certain, but I think Outlook 98 used to display attachments in a slot below the Subject line, like Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode and Outlook 2002. Is that where the attachment shows up? If so, I don't see why you can't access it unless your code prevents it. If not, could you post a small screen shot?

In addition to Jefferson's questions, did you change the default body format whatever it was (Plain Text, RTF or HTML) to another option?

working on the first part, but I can answer this one.

The form was not changed/edited in any way. IT has not been edit or opened yet. I just had Outlook 98 reloaded on a test computer and I am going to see if I can do something using the original software that was used to create them.

When we attached items to our messages it used to add an Icon inside the message with the file name and the extension.

As noted above by JohnBF, the message body format significantly affects the way Outlook displays attachments.
