    Password to open (2000)

Is there a way to put a password in FrontPage 2000. I just want my Family to open the little web that I made. Its just pictures of our family. How can I make sure that no one other then our family can open it?

Usually the web server software offers you a method for protecting a particular folder, so that efforts to access that folder will pop up a password dialog. Your ISP might have a page on how to do this or, if you know the server software, someone here might know.

    Hi,

I'm trying to password protect one page in my web. I've been following the directions in the link but when I got to tools/server, server is not enabled. I'm not sure why.

    Thanks,
    Leesha

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

I'm posting back to say that after much searching and trial and error, I found some very easy and effective asp code to password protect a page in a FP website.
