    quark to excel (E2K)

    Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to exporta quark (Mac) to Excel as our printer has a huge database which I need in Excel and I don't fancy all of the typing. The printer says that Quark imports almost any other form of document but as far as he is aware it is useless at exporting anything

    Cheers

    Steve

I don't know what quark is (other than the subatomic particle, the Ferengi character on Deep Space 9, or the title character in the 1970s TV series), so this is only speculation:

If you can't export to excel, could you export to a text file(delimited or not) and then import into excel and use data - text tocolumns to parse it. If nothing else, you should be able to "print" it to a "generic ascii" printer file, which should be importable into excel.
