    Query Outlook (Outlook 2000)

When trying to open a message that has an imbedded message in it we get and error message that states "Query Outlook for the Outlook Extension Callback Interface" Error 0x80004002 - No such interface supported.
It also happens on a message that has a routing slip.

    Re: Query Outlook (Outlook 2000)

Does this happen on all Outlook client machines, and are you on Exchange Server? Are you using Custom Forms? What Add-ins are you using? What shows in the registry under:

    HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftExchangeClientExtensions

It's most likely that there are problems with an Exchange Client Extension implemented on the Server or on Custom Forms or with an LDAP Server. See this MS Support article which implies that there could a code error or a corrupted DLL relating to HTML or HTML rendering. (Your question may be better targeted for the Server forum. It's sure out of my depth.)

One more idea; try closing Outlook and all Outlook Windows and restarting it with the

    /noextensions

    switch on an affected machine.
