Missing file on start up (XP Home Edition)
When I start my PC a window opens saying that Windows cannot find file ###########.rbf. I click on cancel and all is fine.
When I do a Google search for the extension .rbf it shows as Quicken. I haven't had Quicken on my PC for quite awhile and only now has it appeared (after cleaning the registry for orphan programs). I have searched the registry and cannot locate anything for this file extension. Any ideas how to get rid of this annoying message.

Re: Missing file on start up (XP Home Edition)
Over on the Security board, you can get a link to download a handy program called HijackThis (for example, from Anti Adware, Spyware, Hijack). In this case, you would only be using it to scour your system and list out everything it can find that runs at startup. This would provide a starting point for determining which program is looking for an .RBF file. If you choose to post the list that program generates, please replace anything sensitive with characters and post it as a .TXT attachment.
