    nVidia Open GL Driver

When I run the Performance Tune-up Wizard in SiSoftware Sandra, I bog down at an error message with the subject heading as shown and a message that says "Driver component sizes mis-match. Retry to keep going. Cancel to exit." If I retry, I get the same message. If I cancel, it exits the program and I lose all of the earlier information and tips. Any suggestions?

Have you tried re-installing the Nvidia driver?

No, I haven't. I'm not sure from what source it should be reloaded.

The latest nVidia drivers. Installing the latest drivers may solve your problem.

Sorry for not responding sooner, but I was away.

The link in your message takes me to a window with three steps shown. The first step is complete but the other two are not. When I click on "Go", it says to choose a product in the third column, which is vacant. There also is another link in that window - "? Linux and FreeBSD Drivers" - which takes me to three Linux and one FreeBSD driver downloads. I haven't a clue as to which one I might need.

What would my nVidia Open GL Driver have been associated with anyway? In other words, where might I have gotten it in the first place? Is it part of WinXP?

On the Nividia page, In the leftmost box click on what you want to d/l, then click on the card type, then a list of OSes should appear for you to select. Then click GO.

    Re: nVidia Open GL Driver

Thank you, Joe. I should have been able to figure that out.

I downloaded the appropriate driver and checked the driver installation hints. It said before installing new drivers, to uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers through Control Panel and Add/Remove programs. I did that, but when I checked in Device Manager under Display Adapters, it still shows the NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 driver. Should I remove it from there as well before proceeding?

Not if you removed it using Add/Remove programs. That is sufficient.
