Export Macros to New Computer (Excel 2003)

    Hello,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't locate it by searching. Can anyone tell me how to move my macros from my old computer to my new computer? Thanks.

It depends on where the macros are. If they are in Personal.xls (see <!post=This Post,272311>This Post<!/post> ), which is the most likely place, then you need to find Personal.xls on the old computer and copy it to the XLStart directory on the new computer. Warning, the XLStart directory on the new computer may not be in the same place as it was on the old computer, particularly if the new computer has different versions of Windows and/or Excel.

    Thank you, Legare.

That worked and saved a lot of agony. I was trying to find "All Open Workbooks" folder and then the macros within that, but of course that didn't exist.
