Unnecessary 'Found New Hardware' message (WinXP Home)

I keep getting the 'Found New Hardware' message at bootup, in spite of the fact that the Intuos graphics tablet works fine. I downloaded the latest driver for WinXp Home. How can I stop this message?
    Thanks

Are you seeing any errors in Device Manager? Any info from the vendor?
My advice is to uninstall the device in Device Manager and reinstall.

Install the drivers from MS is most likely your problem. Most of them are 6 months behind the OEM. Always get your drivers from the OEM.
Go to http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/driver...s=XP&product=GD and download the driver listed there and install it.

Hope this will fix things for you.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

What finally worked was re-installing the OLD driver. The new driver just didn't work for some reason. Thanks for all the suggestions.
