    Make standard row height? (2003)

    Hello,

Is there a way in Excel to have a standard row height for ALL rows.
The screen-shot shows how some row heights are so short that the text is cut-off.

Would be nice if I could get Excel to adjust the row height to the respective font-height in that row.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    BD.

Select rows - format - row - height [set the height as desired]

Select rows - format - row - autofit

Note on autofit: this will not work with merged columns (it is not clear if that column is merged from your picture). See <post#=270923>post 270923</post#> for some code to do this automatically with a macro if you are merging columns.

I'm not sure what you are doing so that Excel does not do what you are asking. On my XL2K, Excel does automatically adjust the row height to accomodate changes to larger font sizes or additional lines of text if wrap the text cell format is turned on. The only reason I know of where Excel does not automatically adjust is if there are merged cells (and that breaks a lot of things). Could you post an example where it does not work?
