Can you use Auto Update Files for other computers? (XP Pro - any version)

When XP downloads updates automatically, where does it store them? Can the files downloaded be then used to update other machines?

I have 4 computers which are all on XP Pro. One of them is now prompting me that it has downloaded Windows XP SP2, and wants to install it. Since the download is so large I'm wondering if I can copy the download to the other computers when / if I decide to go ahead.

The automatic download of SP-2 is for that machine. If you want to D/L the whole thing look here: Windows XP Service Pack 2 Network Installation Package. Don't let the title scare you it is just Micosoft's unique way of naming something. It is just the complete service pack which can be applied to any XP machine. Or Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD here.
