    VBscript Hibernation

    Hello all,

Just a quick Q, does anyone know how to disable/enable hibernation using VBscript? I have looked around and can not seem to find any information.

    Thanks for your help,
    Jamie.

VBScript, when run using the Windows Script Host, can change Registry settings. So if there is a simple yes/no 1/0 kind of setting to toggle in the Registry, VBScript can do that.

    Is that what you need?

Hi, thanks for the reply. That's kinda what I need, however, there is no setting in the reg to disable hibernation completly - just change the timings etc. The microsoft responce is to call a util from the script that turns it on or off. As I am looking to save space without a reboot (rolling sp2) the reg setting option would probably not be for me.

    Thanks for the help

    Jamie.
