    Drop-Down list (Office 2000)

    I'm trying to create a drop-down list in Excel where a click on one of four choices will result in that label appearing in a selected cell, e.g., Increase, Decrease, Maintain, Exit.

    This is easy in Word but I haven't figured out how to do it in Excel.

    Hi,
    It sounds like you want Data Validation. You can then assign an acceptable list of possibilities for a cell.
