    Labels to RTF (2002 SR-2)

I have created mailing labels in Access which works fine. However, I need to e-mail this Label Report to someone who doesn't have Access. I clicked on the Word icon to generate an RTF document, but was disappointed with the results. The vertical space between label rows was shrunk, screwing up the entire page (Avery 5160, 3 col by 10 rows). The RTF looks like it could hold 11 or 12 rows. Any thoughts? Is using RTF a fool's errand?

If the data has not to be change, you could use a snapshot file or a pdf file.

For a snapshot the other person would need the snapshot viewer. It can be downloaded here
For a pdf file, you need a program that is able to produce pdf files like Adobe Acrobat or PDF995. PDF995 can be downloaded here

Thanks, Francois. I'd completely forgotten about Snapshots. Worked like a charm.
Any idea why RTF screws up the vertical spacing?

I only know that the conversion works very bad about spacing and all the graphic elements are not transfered.
    Why ? I think you should ask MS. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
