    Lost 'Do you want to disconnect?"

    I recently had to re-format and re-install everything, thanks to Easy CD Creator 5. Avoid it like the plague!
    But now I have lost IE5 & Outlook Express realising that I

    Auto disconnect is a Windows feature. Open any window and select Help. What you want is under 'Automatic Disconnection of Modems' (Win2k; I don't think it's much different for earlier versions).
    Are you sure you want it back? I invariably turn this feature OFF. This is because it will try to disconnect you after the set time even if you are still on line, then you have 10secs to select 'remain on-line' I suppose if you are on a metered call the idea is useful.
    If you are worried about connection when you leave your system unattended, use IE to select 'Never Dial...' under Connections, and re-enable when needed. Also only have your default (free) ISP connect Automatically via the DUC box.
