    Graphs with 2 cols (2003)

    All

The graph on the attached s/s relates to the data in rows 6&7. I need to add columns next to and in the same style of the existing ones, showing the data from rows 8&9.

    Can someone please assist.

I maybe reading this wrong, do you want to have everything shown except row 7?

If this is the case: Highlight cells C6:N7

Hold the control (CTRL) key down and highlight (C8:N9)

Contunue with tht e wizard to produce the graph

Do you need to use a stacked column? This chart cannot create two stacks of a different series next to each other!
Is it not acceptable to have it as a standard column chart?
    See modified attachment!

Re: Graphs with 2 cols (2003)

The chart needs to have 12 sets of stacked columns with contractors for Jan 2004 above employees for Jan 2004. This needs to be grouped with a similar stack of the 2005 data.

I have tried putting the data into 2 rows only with the two sets of data for Oct 2004 and Oct 2005 next to each other. However this does not produce a satisfactory grouping by month. Please see the revised attachment.

    Hi,
With a slight rearrangement of your data you can get roughly what you want, as attached (though it's not the most elegant thing I've ever seen!)
    Hope that helps.
