    Tiny IE6 Window (IE6.2900)

When I click on some links, instead of a full browser window, I get a narrow bar, the same width as the 3 right-corner boxes. How do I get back to "normalcy"?

Is the bar stretchable into a full window? If so, stretch it out to a desirable size and Shift+click the X to close it. Or maybe it's Ctrl+click. Anyway, there is a way to train IE to use the size you want, and it is along those lines. As for why you are getting such small windows... unless there is some script code setting the window size, it's hard to say.

    Thank you for the reply.
Yes, the bar is stretchable into a full-size window but the next link I clicked on brought up another tiny window.

    Hi,
I clicked on the IE Maximizer link but it brings me to what appears to be a Norwegian website, which is all Greek to me.

You have to make sure that:
    1. Only 1 window is open.
    2. Stretch it the way you want.
    3. Close it (the very last window) with Ctrl or Shift click (I forget which also).
    4. It should stick when you restart IE.

And if you really get tired of IE switching window sizes (although it "should" be fairly stable after you follow Jefferson's suggestion), you can download IE Maximizer.

After doing what was suggested above you need to CLOSE IE and restart it (IE) so it will remember the settings (resized window).

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
