    Linkman and Firefox (1.0PR)

Does Linkman (outertech.com/) work with Mozilla Firefox? I cannot get it to...

How is it supposed to integrate? The Linkman product information page has not been updated for a while; it still refers to Firefox as "Firebird" (the name was changed during development).

    Jefferson:

Well, that's why I in fact posted a question on there BBS too. 'Cause (depending on how you set the keys/shortcuts) you can click the system tray icon and it will "Add and Edit" the link -- add it and call up a screen that allows for editing.

This works with Opera, IE, NetCaptor, Mozilla... But I can't get it with Firefox yet...

    Well, I'll keep poking around...

    Regards,
    Chuck

I've never used Linkman before but it sure looks interesting. If you find that it works with Firefox, please post back.

    Phil:

I'm a tinkerer by nature, so I've tried a lot of different progs...

This is a great one... It's worked real well with all other browsers, and I've emailed Thomas Reichman (da boss), to see if we can straighten this out. It's hard for me to believe that it doesn't work, so it might be something I've done in config, or something minor since Firefox 1.0PR.

I'll post what I find. Take a look though, because the more mail Thomas gets, maybe the faster he'll fix whatever...

    Regards,
    Chuck
