    Colour Fill (VB6)

    Hi there

I have a little pet project I am undertaking at the moment which produces a Octrahedron of variable depth. To give the shape depth I have given each face of the octrahedron a colour.

My method of doing this is to loop through and draw a line from the apex of the top pyramid to the corresponding face base line to give the effect of a fill. Even if I loop at very small increments I still get gaps between the fill lines letting me see the rear facet, I don't want this. Is there a way I can get a solid fill to the right top facet (the attached screen dump hopefully shows my problem).

You might draw triangles using the Polygon API function - see here for the declaration you need; there are links to code examples.
