    Copying Animation (2002)

I have a PPT slide with 5 images that each have unique animation applied to them. I want to create another slide with five new images - but with the same animation. Is there a quick and easy way of doing this? Or do I have to manually re-create each animation?

    Thanks

Have you tried copying the slide and pasting it in as a second slide, then changing the images to the new images? You may have to be careful about how you replace the image however - you don't want PPT to think you've actually deleted the image, which would delete the animation too. That's about the only alternative I can think of short of writing a bunch of VBA to do what you want, which would obviously take far longer than adding animations to each image.

I use Shyam's Animation Carbon add-in for this kind of thing. http://www.mvps.org/skp/ac/index.html

I believe Keith Tromer has another tool for this stuff. http://www.corpimaging.com/PowerTools/ You'll want the Effects Library, but there may be something on the Edit toolbar that "paints" animations as well.
