    Firefox as default (1.0PR)

Zipped attachment replaced by Leif with link to original source. This will make it faster for other users to view the page, includes the images, and bypasses any copyright issues.

Attachment: Slipstick: Use FireFox as the default browser to open links in Outlook

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

The attached are instructions for making Firefox the browser for links inside of Outlook. To do so, in short, you disable DDE for the link types.

Will I lose anything by doing this?

-- You need to unzip the attached because of lounge params...

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

You will lose some annoying behavior. I don't think you will lose anything you want. However, it's easy to try it either way.

Well then, maybe I'll give it a shot...

BTW, what happened to my "Open With"? Didn't it used to be a right-click choice?

    Chuck

    Almost. Try Shift+right click. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    Phil:

*That's* what I had thought... But it's *gone! Along with that, my task bar, set to "Always on top" doesn't always now... Rather, it comes up, but under currently open windows.

Is my Win2k install corrupted or somepin?

    Chuck Billow

Sorry, Chuck. I'm not familiar with Win 2K. Perhaps you should ask in that forum.
