Word 2000 and Labels (Word 2000)

    Hello Woody Word Gurus,

I am having problems getting the correct settings for labels. I have recently purchased a new printer Canon i965, and am trying to print my labels using my usual measurements. However, I am not getting what I appears to look correct in preview mode and print layout. I have even tried setting a new label description with the correct measurements but it appears to be squashing the label height and therefore not lining the labels up correctly. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or could it be to do with the new printer?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Cheers,

    Jocelyn

You might check that the page size set for the printer matches that set in your label document (in File | Page Setup...). If one of them is set to Letter size and the other to A4, for example, you could get the effect you describe.

Also make sure that you have 'No scaling' in the 'Zoom' section of the File | Print... dialog.

    Thanks Hans,

It was the printer set to Letter. Thanks again for your response and resolving the problem.

    Cheers,

    Jocelyn
