Sorry, maybe before your time, but highly trendy back in my teenage days:
Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) is one of the world's most famous graphic artists.
They say it took 300 years for artists to develop perspective in their pictures, and it took Escher about 3 years to totally destroy it!
