    SendObject to distribution List (2000)

Is it possible to use SendObject to send an Access report to an Exchange distribution list (i.e. one set up in the Global Address List)? If it is not possible to do this directly, is there a way of getting at the email addresses in the distribution list so that I can add these to the To property in the usual way?

Incidentally, is there another way of sending a report by email? I

You can supply the name of the distribution list as the To (or CC or Bcc) argument of DoCmd.SendObject.

SendObject and Outlook Automation are the methods that come to mind first. You could also use the lower level MAPI functions.

If I used Outlook Automation, how could I attach an Access report? I only know how to attach files.

You would have to use DoCmd.OutputTo to export the report to a file on disk, then attach that file to the MailItem object as an attachment, and finally delete the exported file; the Kill instruction is the simplest way to do so.
