    Kill the mouse wheel (2000)

    Hi,
Is there a way to stop the user from using the mouse wheel in a database? I've had a look through the archives here and it all seems relatively tickety-boo as long as you can use the MouseWheel.dll file as detailed here.
Unfortunately I cannot enter it onto our system at work, and I am also having great problems importing it into the database as its not a recognised file format.
Any suggestions? Can I work around this with coding or am I approaching importing the dll file incorrectly?

You should NOT import the DLL into your database. From Stephen Lebans' description:
<hr>Just copy the included MouseHook.DLL into your Windows/System folder or into the same folder as your application MDB.<hr>
The other thing you must do is to import the module from the demo database into your own database. You can then use the functions MouseWheelON and MouseWheelOFF in your code.
