Is it possible to change the Task List "Requested By" field manually?

My goal is to create a task for myself that someone has verbally asked me to do. Changing the "requested by" field to his name rather than my own would allow me to notify the actual requester automatically whenever I update the task.

I know from another Lounge thread that I can drag and drop e-mails into tasks to create new tasks, but I still need a better way to set up verbal assignment I receive from others.

I don't know of a way in native Outlook to set up a Task with another person as Originator/Requestor than the person logged on, and it would be dangerous to permit it, because unethical users could spoof tasks and engage in task assignment shenanigans.

You can:
1. ask the originator to set up the task and assign it to you, or
2. note the requestors name in your Task text body field, or
3. create a custom field to hold the requestors name

It is kind of annoying that although you can assign a Task to yourself, I don't see where you can CC anyone; if you could, the CC could serve as a record of the requestor, as well as an acknowledgement to the requestor of the Task.
