word menu bar (2002)

Weird word problem: My customer's menu bar is frozen in the middle of her word screen. I have attempted deleting and recreating normal.dot, I have reset all toolbars and I've run detect and repair. Still the bar is frozen in the middle of the screen. The bar cannot be dragged anywhere. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Any suggestions?

Let her try this:
- Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11) (don't worry, we're not really going to program)
- Activate the Immediate window (Ctrl+G)
- Type the following line:

CommandBars("Menu Bar").Protection = msoBarNoProtection

- Press Enter.
- Switch back to Word (Alt+F11)
- See if the menu bar can be moved now.
