Talk about ANNOYANCES! (PLEASE help!) (2000/SR1)

Outlook has recently begun to manifest the following really strange behavior...

Whenever I open up an e-mail message, after about a second, it resizes and snaps to the left of my screen!

This is really driving me crazy! Hope someone can help.

It sounds as though it is being caused by a program external to Outlook that is watching for new windows. I have no idea what it might be, but if it were something configured into Outlook, it probably would just open in that position in the first place...

Hi, weird indeed. You could try a virus scan if you have antivirus installed - but you probably did that already...

Whenever anything weird starts happening I automatically think that my system may have had an unwelcome visit from some adware or spyware, which is now running a program behind my back and causing the strange behaviour.

To check for such nastiness, you can use Adaware from Lavasoft, which I think is really good. Download it, install it and run it. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
    Thanks,
