unable to print (Outlook Express 6.0)

A friend has WIN XP with a HP 960c Deskjet printer. The printer works fine with MS Word and it prints the test page from Properties. However, in Outlook Express, the print command is grayed out and not available. Sometimes it will let her print one or two email messages and then it will gray out. The printer seems to working fine with other applications. What would be causing the print command to be not available in Outlook Express?

Re: unable to print (Outlook Express 6.0)

There are situations when the print menu can be grayed out in Outlook Express.
You can not print mesages from the drafts folder.
If the preview pane is disabled you must open the message to print it, it can not be printed from the list of e-mails.
