    Compess pictures within presentation (2000)

I'm sure this has been addressed at some point, but I'm under a deadline and don't have time to search. Is there a way you can compress the .jpg files within a presentation to make the size of the file smaller? Or is there a way to compress the entire file? We need to email this and we are limited in the size of the attachment. Any advice will be appreciated.

You can create a .zip file from the presentation and e-mail that. The zip file will mostly compress the rest of the presentation, for there is not much to be gained compressing .jpg files - they are already highly compressed.

http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00062.htm I use the RnR Optimizer, and I love it.

There are a couple of others out there -- NX PowerLite http://www.nxpowerlite.com/ and PointLess (I can't bring myself to use that one simply because of the name, though!) Oh, I guess others couldn't, either, because their website seems to be unavailable. Ah, wait. Seems they've just been bought out. http://www.galaxyvue.com/products.shtml

TAJ has manual instructions, if you want to be able to right-size from the get-go. http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com...ntgraphics.htm
