    Pivot Field 3 sigma (2003)

    Hi All,

It is easy to make a pivot table with StdDev as the field calculation. Is there an easy way to make it calculate 3*StdDev instead?

(Currently, I create a separate "side table" for this, which has obvious drawbacks)

    Thanks!

I think the only way is to create a column from the pivot calculated column.

You could create your own macro that ran to refreshed the pivot table and calculated these values

If you want something like the pivot only with a different column, you could create a routine that creates a pivot, extracts the values and converts the "stdev" col to 3*stdev, if desired.
