    Tree Control (VBA 2000)

Ok, have I missed something? A Tree Control is just a fancy ListBox? Right? Is there one hidden in VBA somewhere? Or does anyone know where I can download one? <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

A tree control is quite different from a list box. The left hand panel of Windows Explorer is a tree control, as is the Project Explorer in the Visual Basic Editor. Try the following:
    - Start Word or Excel.
    - Press Alt+F11 to activate the Visual Basic Editor.
    - Select Insert | UserForm
    - Right click the Toolbox toolbar.
    - Select More Controls from the popup menu.
    - Scroll down the list and see if you can find Microsoft TreeView Control, Version 6.0.
    - If so, tick the corresponding check box and click OK.
    - You should now have a new control in the Toolbox.

You will need to write non-trivial code to populate the treeview control. See Using the TreeView Control.

Jade is a development environment created in NZ. It combines a database, GUI interface and language. It's been used for enrolment and exam processing, tracking and loading containers in port, payroll etc. Their site is www.jadeworld.com
