    help

    Help.i have a dailler on my internet connections called AXIS 5.It is causing me all sorts of problems.I would appreciate some sort of explanation as to what it is and how(if) i can get rid of it.

    Are you sure that is the name? A google search doesn't turn up anything for "axis 5" or "axis5" that clearly points to dialers/spyware/malware.
    Have you installed and run Spybot Search and Destroy and Adaware? They detect and remove most malware.

    Can you give us more information on the types of problems that you are having ??? Has your homepage been changed or are you being redirected to sites not of your choosing ??? Is your system trying to dial an internet connection without being asked to do so ???

    I found a reference to a dialer with AXIS in it's registry entry. It's Dialer/Dialer-BO and you can read about it on the Description tab here on the SOPHOS site. And find out how to remove it here. HTH
