saving versions for audit (2002)
I am integrating plans by inserting each sub-project into a master project using one resource pool. I have been unable to save the project as a different version for audit purposes. I have tried to unlock the sub-projects but this send dates all over the place!! Any ideas?

Re: saving versions for audit (2002)
As I see it you have two options to save your Master Project with Subprojects for audit purposes; both of which are a pain.
Renaming the Master project does not solve the subproject problem as the links still point to the original subproject files.
Save the Master Project and All Subprojects to a CD or different file folder that you can refer back to. Then if you need to open this version you would have to replace all the current files with these. Dont forget to save the current files as well.
Rename the Master File and/or all Subprojects inserted into the Master file to keep different versions, however, you will need to ensure all of the links are pointing to the correct subproject. You could use your current folders but it helps to have a file naming convention to keep track of which file is being used. Then just link to the current subproject.
I don't know of any easier way to do this. <img src=/S/sorry.gif border=0 alt=sorry width=15 height=15>Regards,
