    Blank Cells (XP)

    Lets say I have a spreadsheet that covers A1 to Z300. Not all cells contain information. I would like to fill the empty cells with a letter (x). Is there a simple way to do this using a macro or VB?
    Thanks in advance for any help.. <img src=/S/compute.gif border=0 alt=compute width=40 height=20>

    How about this.

    <code>Sub FillEmptyCells()</code>
    <code> Range("A1:Z300").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).Fo rmulaR1C1 = "x"</code>
    <code>End Sub</code>

    There is even a simple way without a macro:
    Select the range A1:Z300
    Edit - goto <special>
    Select "blank cells" <ok>
    Enter the "x"
    <ctrl><enter> will fill it in all of them.

    You can even enter formulas
