Win Explorer crashes (Win XP Home SP2)

Explorer crashes when I try to view my graphics folder. The event viewer shows either of 2 messages:
'Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00018fea.'
    or
    'Fault bucket 127786104.'
I am using a new Dell computer with 1 Gb of RAM, and Norton Internet Security.
Any ideas on how to stop this happening?
    Thanks

Just a wild guess: there might be problem with the video driver. You can go to the website of the manufacturer of your video card, download and install the latest drivers for it. If oyu don't know what video card you have, see the Settings tab of the Displaty Properties control panel.

Your wild guess may have just done the trick. I downloaded the new driver and have had no problems since. THANK YOU Hans!
