Importing dBASE IV File into Access 2000 (9.0.2720)

Have tried to enter the Microsoft Office Online Forum with this problem, but haven't been able to navigate through that site. I have a reasonably large database written in dBASE IV that I need to import into Access 2000. I am not familiar with dBASE nor do I have that software. Can someone talk me through (step by step) the process of doing this? Many thanks for any help. I am a new user and this is my first post so please bear with me as I learn the ropes here.

Create or open the Access database into which you want to import the DBase file.
Select File | Get External Data | Import...
Select 'DBase IV (*.dbf)' in the 'Files of Type' dropdown near the bottom of the Import dialog.
    Locate the DBase file.
    Select it and click Import.
You'll get a message whether the import succeeded.
    Close the Import dialog.
