    Windows screen rotated???

I have windows XP on a new computer and inadvertantly pressed a combination of keys that has rotated my screen view. How can I turn it back?

    Hi Kerry

This will probably be a setting of your graphics card. Select display from the control panel, go to the settings tab and click advanced. This dialog should have a tab that allows you to set up the graphics card.

    Cant find anything in there.

I was trying to reboot the computer - with CTRL/ALT/DEL and obviously hit some odd key combination.

Have to turn my screen on its side to read it!!

    Hi Kerry

Hotkeys to rotate the screen can vary, some searching showed Control+Alt+Arrow Keys are sometimes used to rotate screens. If this combination does not work then what graphics card do you have?

I don't know what hot keys you used, but if you have a NVidia card you might be able to sort it out by the following method.

Right-click on a blank area of desktop, and select Properties. You should get the Display Properties window.
Click on the Settings tab then on the Advanced button. You may get a screen which has something like GeForce FX 5200 as one of the tabs.
Click on that tab, and you should get a fly-out window to the left with one of the options being NVRotate
Click on that word, and your main window should then change to give you four radio button possibilities beneath the picture of the monitor: Landscape (0
