Location of personalised toolbars

Where are the personalised toolbars saved for Word 2000 & Powerpoint 2000? I know that my excel toolbars are stored in:

This may be a little off topic, but I've been using the Office Profile Wizard (along with the Cutom Installation Wizard) from the Office 2000 Resource Kit. With the Profile Wizard, you can have ALL of your office settings (toolbars, menus, preferences, the works!) saved to an OPS file. My OPS file is only 623KB.

The Custom Install Wizard is similar - it lets you select installation options (just as if you were installing Office), and saves these options to a file. When you reinstall Office, just use a special shortcut generated by this app and office is installed automatically to the exact specs that you've saved in that file. Also, your toolbars, menus, and preferences are restored from the saved OPS file.
It's BEAUTIFUL!!

Hope this helps....

Not sure about PowerPoint, but in Word, personalized toolbars are stored by default in Normal.dot - that is, unless you specify to associate them with a document or template other than Normal.dot.

Not sure about PowerPoint but in Word the default is to store them in Normal.dot - which is probably not the best place for them. I prefer to store mine in other global templates. It makes them more portable and a bit safer.

See: Template Basics (addbalance.com/usersguide/templates.htm) for more on templates (user and workgroup), document templates, global templates and Normal.dot.
