    MSN Search Preview

Microsoft are expanding the MSN search engine, the MSN search technology preview gives far more results than the current MSN search. I wonder how long before it has options to search the web, images, groups, news...

    Uh, huh ...

... and when it can do all that, I'll continue to ignore it. MS has lost every bit of good will they had with me. Every new innovation is designed to enable them to gain greater control and/or crush any other good ideas out there. Thanks, but no thanks, Microsoft.

    Um ... may I point out the Google is *currently* crushing the competition? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    Re: MSN Search Preview

The first search I tried (my name, I admit it) gave really bad results. I had to put quotation marks around to give the search engine the hint that maybe I placed the two words next to each other because I wanted them to be found next to each other. I submitted that as feedback, but the survey page used non-W3C compliant script that does not work in Firefox. Needless to say, I won't be going back!

Don't you just love features that are support across browsers and platforms?
