    Input mask (Access 2000)

    My efforts to build an input mask are unsuccessful.I want to make the input mask only for the days and months,
    for example 01.04 instead of 01.04.2004. Even though that in my Regional settings the date is defines as dd.MM.yyyy
    I want to put the following input mask :
    00/00/;0;
    In order for the user to have a simpler entry,and not enter the year.However, i get the mesage that the value i enter is not valid.
    Onviously my mistake is with my input mask.
    Also, i have another row with the hours.My regional settingsd are HH.mm
    I have the following input mask :
    09.00 >LL;0()
    ANd i get again the mesage for an invalid value
    May i get some help ?

    Re: Input mask (Access 2000)

    I don't like input masks for date or time fields; I find them too constricting. I usually set the Format property of a text box bound to a date/time field to one of the date or time formats. That will cause Access to check that the user enters a valid date or time, without imposing a specific format for entering it.
