    Month format in words (2002)

    Hi,

I have a query that has a date in it in short date format. I need to have it displayed as the month by name ....January, February, etc. I've used
txtMonth:Month([beg_dt]) to change it to the numerical equiv. of the month, but do not know how to change it to the actual word. I'm assuming this would be done in the query itself vs the report or code, but since I don't know for sure or how to do it I could use some help.

    Thanks,
    Leesha

You can do it on the report itself without any code.

Put a textbox on the report bound to the date field, and set its format property to mmmm.
