    ADO help (Access 2000)

    When I look for help in VB and the item references ADO I cannot get any details. I have teied reloading help but without success. Can anyone tell me what I am doing incorrectly please.

    1. Do you have a checked reference to the Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.* Library in Tools | References...?
    2. What happens if you type Recordset in a module window or in the Immediate window and press F1?

    Thanks Hans. I did have the reference set. Typing in recordset in a module and using F1 did bring reference to both ADO and DAO and I could get to methods through that. Must say a long winded way of getting to it. As always appreciate your help

    Yes, it is long-winded. It seems to be part of Microsoft's campaign to make online help a little bit less helpful with each new version.
